How stupid do you have to be to think that the U.S. is the main cause to this ridiculous "Global Warming"! You said it your self, India and China have populations in the Billions! That means more cars, more houses, more buildings, more everything. Global warming isn't even caused by humans anyways. "Oh, but what about all of the charts from official scientists? And big organizations?" Yeah, because they wouldn't lie to get you to give them money. You need to get smart.
Global warming is not solely from humans, but I do think that we are certainly contributing to this change in climate. The US is a large contributor to green house gas emissions. China and India are still developing therefore they also have a large output of green house gas emissions too.
Secondly, buddy above me, you are just discrediting yourself by completely bashing this person's blog. there is a sense of respect to other people's thoughts in the academic world, and clearly you are not part of it.
Recommendation: if you want your views to be taken seriously, consider toning it down and cool it. Every has their own views. So respect them. Thanks.
Rob Elliott is an economist at the University of Birmingham, UK with an interest in all aspects of the Economics of Globalisation especially the environmental implications.
Following the recent workshop on the "Economics of the Stern Review" and the fuss caused by the "great global warming swindle" this book represents an excellent introduction to the topic. Chapter 6 is the chapter it all hinges upon.
